The sinking ship is no longer sinking, and the rats are, now, mutineers. They replaced the fair-trade flag with the bully's flag and are on course to their off-shore hide-outs. 

No one dares, any longer, to go chase them. Not even any democratic country where democracy stands at its lowest popularity rate since ancient Greece's breakthrough. On life support -I would dare to say- no one knows even if it will survive!

I don't think there will be, ever, a treasure map to cheer us on a treasure hunt like in the old dreamy time!

Therefore, may greed turn enemies into brothers, and so on!

 Gostava de ver o mesmo zelo na minha vila, onde se estaciona em linha amarela há anos, em cima da passadeira em frente à escola dos meus filhos há anos, em que os hooligans do meu clube se comportam como hooligans, em que os homens que batem nas mulheres batem sem problema, em que a avenida principal de duas faixas tem uma sempre bloqueada, ora por este ora por aquele e que foram tomar café descansadamente há anos… etc, etc, etc. Infelizmente, não há ninguém para nos encostar às paredes há anos.

EARLY RETIREMENT

Santa Claus is going to retire, according to reliable sources. Thus, the long-awaited and well-deserved turn of Mother Christmas will, HOPEFULLY, arrive.

But let's wait for confirmation, whether it is or not, official.

(I really wish there would be, in the next hundred years at least, a Mother Christmas!)

O pai natal vai reformar-se, segundo me confidenciaram fontes credíveis. Chegará, assim, a muito esperada, e merecida, vez da mãe natal.
